Installation

Dataweb project is composed from two application a server application and a client one. Both are Java runtime 6.0 based, so it is possible to install them on jre1.6 compatible OS like Linux, Windows, Mac os, Solaris.
In order to install Dataweb the step to perform are:

  • Install Java 6.0 runtime (o superior)
  • Install a DataBase Engine (optional installation)
  • Install Server component
  • Install Client component
  • Create a DataWeb Instance
