A need felt when using views is to be able to return report information and statistics on the observed data in the view itself. In order to create totals it must be used the class WebCrosstabSet.
This class defines the structure (rows - columns) of the report that you will get. In next lines methods for using that class will be explained .

The view, after loading the data, triggers the following event:
loadTotals(e){}
Parameters are:
e.getMaxRow() : maximum numbers of rows to be returned
e.getCondition() : to get the filter that is been previously set
e.getOrder() : to get the set order.
e.getFilterName() : to get the name of the set filter that is been     previously set
e.getFilterParameters() : array of filter values
e.addTotals(WebCrosstabSet) : add total to the view
